Is there any downtime during the migration?
No, there is no downtime. The original account and configuration remain active, and the settings are simply copied to the new account, allowing you to continue your operations without any disruption.
Will my shipping rules and configurations remain intact?
Yes, our migration tool ensures that all your shipping rules, carriers, methods, and settings are preserved during the transition.
Will my negotiated account rates also be migrated to the new account?
While carriers and methods are migrated, you will need to re-validate your carrier accounts to use your negotiated account rates. For more details, check our help docs.
Can I migrate only part of my configuration, or does the entire configuration need to be migrated?
Typically, the migration process involves transferring your entire configuration to maintain the integrity and functionality of your setup on the new platform. However, if you prefer to transfer only specific settings, please inform your ShipperHQ representative. Our Customer Success team will assist with scoping and ensure your migration process meets your specific needs.
What if I need both accounts active concurrently?
We will set up the new account (the target account pending go-live) on a trial while continuing to bill your existing account. Once the migration is complete, we will transfer billing from the old account to the new one, ensuring a seamless billing transition.
